Tug Of War is a timeless game of competition that has out grown more popular over the ages.

Our "official" Tug Of War Rope is 75' long with sealed ends and a flag marking the middle.

We have also added suggested Tug of War Rules for your next party or event.

h3. SUGGESTED TUG OF WAR RULES

The following is just a suggestion.  You may use your own variation to the rules as you see fit.

* Teams of 5 may enter.  The team composition may not be changed during competition.
* Individuals may wear long sleeved shirts, tape hands and wear gloves
( Holes may not be dug into the ground )

h4. DISQUALIFICATION WILL RESULT FROM THE FOLLOWING:
* Sitting on the ground or on any other teammate.  Should a person fall or lose balance, he or she mush recover at once.  A caution against one person is a caution against the entire team.
* Letting go of the rope before a pull has been completed.
* At start of the pull, each team lines up behind a line in it's area.  Each pull in conducted by the referee as follows:
** "Take up the rope" - Each team picks up the rope
** "Take up slack" - Both teams takes up slack evenly, without pulling.
** "GO" - When the rope is completely steady, the referee will say GO and the tugging/pulling may begin.
* Only the last person may wrap the rope around the body.
* A team is considered defeated when the marker crosses the line farthest from that team.

The referee will signal the end of the pull.
